MEDIA RELEASE

DISCOVER QUEENSTOWN FOR AN EXTRAORDINARY

BUSINESS EVENT

Queenstown, New Zealand (13 March 2025) – If you could craft your ultimate business event, where would it be? Business event planners now have even more reason to choose Queenstown, with a new suite of online tools and resources to help plan the most extraordinary incentive trip, conference, or retreat.

As part of the recent Queenstown NZ brand refresh, a bespoke business events microsite has been designed to make it easy to create events where delegates can participate in a range of activities, fully immerse themselves in the region, and leave feeling inspired and motivated.

A dynamic new business events guide includes accommodation capacity charts and suggested itineraries that showcase Queenstown’s collaborative collection of suppliers across a range of venues, event services, quality cuisine and unique experiences.

Mat Woods, Destination Queenstown Chief Executive, says Queenstown is the ideal destination for those planning a business event beyond the traditional four walls of a conference.

“With world-class venues, spectacular scenery and a vibrant community, business events in Queenstown not only create unforgettable experiences, but they can lead to fresh thinking, spark innovative ideas, and help build highly motivated teams,” he said.

Up-to-date airline connectivity schedules highlight how accessible Queenstown is, with multiple daily connections from New Zealand’s main centres, and direct daily flights from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Gold Coast. Other useful resources include a forward outlook of potential accommodation occupancy to  guide decisions around when to visit, and local accommodation maps with travel times to ensure a seamless experience on the ground.

Sarah McDonald, Queenstown Convention Bureau Manager said, “There’s a lot to think about when planning a business event, especially when you’re organising from afar. Our new range of online planning tools, suggested itineraries, and access to a network of local experts, are just some of the ways we can help ensure every business event provides something out of the ordinary.

“The Queenstown Convention Bureau is a local team based in the heart of Queenstown, and we’re here to offer free, impartial advice to help bring any business event to life, making the planning process easy for planners and delegates,” Sarah added.
