Kia ora Friend,

Ash here – Community Fund Coordinator, Love Queenstown.

Love Queenstown was inspired by the deep love we all have for this region, and the environment that makes it all possible. It’s a place I love, and one I know holds a special place in the hearts of many.

Sharing our special part of the world with visitors is a great passion of the Queenstown community. It’s a way of life, and our driving force, but we understand it comes with responsibility. A responsibility to protect, regenerate, and restore the environment that makes it all possible. To give back more than we take.

Love Queenstown is an opportunity for you, and for us all, to create a brighter future for this place, and the environment we love – together.

Thanks for being here with us,

Bringing Love Queenstown to life

The Love Queenstown Community Fund was established in 2023 to make it easy for visitors and businesses to play an active role in protecting and regenerating Queenstown’s environment.

The fund is the first initiative to come out of Queenstown Lakes' regenerative tourism plan which has a lofty goal for the future of this place – by 2030, Queenstown will be a regenerative tourism destination with a carbon zero visitor economy.

Funds raised by Love Queenstown will be regularly allocated to local organisations who operate in the climate, conservation, and biodiversity space through grant rounds.

Together, we’ll ensure Queenstown thrives into the future.
